Well said, Thomas - and I honor how honestly you follow the argument; I only insist we walk with our feet planted in experience, believing in proportion to the evidence and no further.
But here we part: from things that begin and change and depend, reason itself compels us upward to a first, necessary cause - to stop short is to leave the effect without its ground.
Yet all we ever observe is one thing following another, never necessity itself; to leap from this ordered world to an infinite Author is to claim knowledge no experience can supply.
